Were you in 'A' Coy in the Radfan?  I seem to think you might be the same person i served alongside in 1 platoon.  If you are the same one then you will remember the accidental discharge of a Bren Gun in a sangar which caused you a shoulder injury!  Not too serious but enough for a cas-evac and away from sangars for a while.  Was it Rex Dourish in the sangar with you?  Anyway, many of the men who were there in 'A' Coy with you might not be around anymore although i believe Rex is.  Those who were and still alive might care to drop you a line.  Hope you are well John and that some of your drinking buddies at least get in touch with you.  All the best to you.

Keith Borthwick, ex. 1 section, 1 platoon.

Hello Dusty.  Trying to picture you but the clue would be Mickey Breed!  He was a close buddy of yours as i re-call so i am guessing your other nickname was 'Manti'.  Correct?  Glad to know you are alive and well and living in a nice area.  It would be 1969 since i last saw you.  Time flieson and age humbles us all so enjoy you life in the Highlands. All the best. Keith.
