Hi Tug, Good to hear from you, hope your well, i worked with young tug for a few years ,sadly he gave up the bagpipe, did you compose or do you know if anyone composed a tune in memory of Peter Sime when he was killed in Ballymurphy ? Last year during piping festival in Glasgow i bumped into Willie cochrane who introduced me to a couple of canadians playing in world championships, BOTH former pupils of yours ! its a small world, hope you and yours are keeping fine, all the best 88 !!!!

A big thank you from
Frank Roy, Davy McBride and myself to Rab Perry and The Folkestone branch for a great night at the Mess in the old Shorncliff barracks. It made the long journey down well worth while. Thanks again ,
Paddy. XXV

I missed C.O. Fairweather
Mein Freund in der Armee. Saw him last Canon Gate Edi. We have had so much drinks and fun in BFPO Berlin. I know where he is now. He was the best in K.O.S.B.
Schöneswetter, so we called him,. From Klaus the BERLINER..

Jim, nice to hear my old tunes mentioned! Thanks! Stewart Middlemas was actually written in 1973. I also wrote C Coy. 1 K.O.S.B. Farewell to Ballymurphy and B Coy. Farewell to Girdwood Camp, Belfast. In 1987, I wrote a tune called 300 Years of Glory. I was well rewarded when I heard the band playing it as they beat retreat at Redford Barracks when came back in 1989 for the 300th anniversary of the Regiment!
All the best, Jim.
