It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of  Jimmy “Dusty” Miller  who died suddenly at home in Inverness on Friday 14th April 2017 aged 83. Jimmy served for twenty seven years with the 1st Battalion between 1952 – 1979, during which time he saw active service in Borneo and Northern Ireland. Jimmy’s final tour was in the Families Office, Inverness.

On behalf of its members, the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Association has extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to Jimmy’s daughter Jackie and wider family members at this very difficult time.

Funeral details are: Wednesday 26th April 2017, 2.pm at Inverness Crematorium, Kilvean Road, Inverness IV3 8JN. Jimmy’s family extend a warm welcome to all KOSB, Army comrades and colleagues to join them for Jimmy’s service. Refreshments will be served post service at the Waterside Hotel, 19 Ness Bank, Inverness IV2 4SF
