CORONA-VIRUS PANDEMIC

Borderers,

As you will be only too well aware, Government restrictions remain in place for the safety of all of us during this time of pandemic. As retired soldiers we need to remain disciplined and support each other.

The Association is aware of at least one Borderer who is in hospital with COVID-19.  He and his family are in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish him a speedy recovery.

However, there may be others, so it is important that we are all aware of the Government’s requirements, and look out for Borderers who you know, to ensure no one is missed who may be in need of help and assistance during this difficult and challenging time.

For those of you who may need help, Government agencies as well as SSAFA are available for any assistance with welfare issues that either you, or others known to you, may have. Please use them.

Association HQ will keep everyone updated as to when Regimental activities are able to take place, in line with and following Government advice and instructions, and will issue appropriate notifications.

STAY SAFE, STAY IN
