PIPE MAJOR DAVID BUNYAN
It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Pipie Dave Bunyan on Sunday 9th December 2018 at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh aged 81.
Dave was member of 1KOSB Pipes and Drums during the Malaya Campaign, then Pipe Major of the 4th Battalion and 2/52 LOWLAND.
Dave with sons and granddaughter having played at the Malaya Veterans Reunion, Peebles.
Funeral details have been notified as 12 Noon on Thursday 20th December at Lilliesleaf Cemetery, Lilliesleaf, Roxburghshire TD6 9JD
KOSB Association Office Closure – 22 Dec 2018 – 2 Jan 2019
“Please be advised that the KOSB Association office will be closed for the festive period Saturday 22nd December 2018 – Wednesday 2nd January 2019 inclusive.
On behalf of the Association staff and KOSB museum volunteers at Berwick, may I take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who have provided assistance, guidance and support throughout what has been a particularly busy year for the Association and Museum.
We wish all Borderers, their families and friends a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.”
KOSB REGIMENTAL CHRISTMAS CARDS
KOSB Regimental Christmas cards are now available for order. Each card is individually priced at 75p, however packs of ten can be purchased for £6.50 (postage not included). There is no minimum order required and a mix and match of designs In any quantity is available. Orders can be placed via the KOSB Association Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org

BORDERERS CHRONICLE 2018
The editorial team producing the 2018 edition of the Borderers Chronicle would welcome any articles, notices, stories and obituaries for inclusion in to the forthcoming publication, photographs complete with captions to accompany any item would be particularly welcome. Newspaper photographs are particularly difficult to reproduce, however every attempt will be made to include these depending on quality.
Please forward all inclusions preferably by e-mail, however submissions can be posted to the Association Secretary at The Barracks, Berwick upon Tweed TD11 3LU.
It is requested that all items be submitted by 31st December 2018.
